Wedding Kiss Ballroom - TEMPORARILY CLOSED

Honest review here : 1 star is being nice, words cannot describe the disappointment for Traci who runs this wedding service. PAID 100$ pp to have food catered and be provided with full service FOR MY WEDDING DAY and it was a disaster. From the beginning when entering the venue to noticing noting was finished and guest arriving shortly so of course i had to jump in and help. The dj did not have any music downloaded so my entrance song was played from YouTube on a phone to the mic. Sand blending moment to unite both my and my husband’s kids did not happen. To no cocktail food or drinks, the bar catering service was serviced by someone who explained she did not know how to make mixed drinks, to finding out between 5-6pm that there was NO FOOD to serve my guest. Complete devastating day for me. The venue was available from 10am to 10pm for us and come to find out the dj was paid until 7pm which i did not find out until i had to have my mom coordinate my wedding since Traci was gone most of the night. Rushed to do wedding dances never tossed my bouquet . The flower arches were paid until 8pm and of course my photos of special people in my life giving their speeches were of the individuals taking down the arches in the background. So sad. LASTLY, i was not legally married until a week later which gave me anxiety because at this point i could not trust her professional judgement. The one thing that could make this right was for her to repay me back my money. I gave her grace and enough time for her to show me i can trust her words. Understandably she did not have all the money so she recommended paying me 300 every 2 weeks and guess what I COULDN'T EVEN GET THAT, what i got was 200$ and a card. I do not recommend using this service because the end result was a disaster and honestly i hate my wedding day because of how it all turned out which i was told i had nothing to worry about but that was lie. I am still waiting to my payment again not even 300$ ever 2 weeks to pay off the 6300 she owes me for not abiding by our contract and the refund form we both signed. Respectfully do more research in wedding coordinators because this service could not uphold to there services. I am just waiting for this Christian woman to do the godly thing and start to re pay me back my money and live the god fearing and bear the fruits of god words.

Two years ago my daughter and my self attend a bridal Boot Camp what a scam the ticket was over $100 and all the young ladies according to my niece, started crying. They had a counseling session I'm on themselves, but there was no Boot Camp. They was told that they were coming back to do the second part for the vision board never was brought back this woman scam them. took all these young ladies, money, there never was a second part empty promises the only thing we got was breakfast we when to real bridal boot camp excellent received so much information tools don’t waste your time with this place I stand by what I wrote 100% this place is not worth the time or money and you did promise to bring back those young ladies to discuss vison board and other things which did not happen we can go back and forward but I stand on truth not lies and God Bless you TOO

I actually went back and forth about posting this review, However I find it to be VERY necessary for others and I wish I would have read through the reviews before I booked my surprise wedding with Traci the owner. I first encountered WEDDING KISS through one of the wedding venue apps. I sent an inquiry one evening after my then fiancé and I decided NOT to have a destination wedding and instead to have a surprise wedding at our engagement party. When Traci reached out after receiving my inquiry we talked via text/email I explained to her what I was looking to do and the things I needed to make it happen. She mentioned she could accommodate all of my needs. We made an appointment to meet with her right around July 5/6 which was just a few days after speaking with her. Our date was 10-21-23! She said in the initial conversation she could accommodate that date 10-21-23. We went in met with her and she still was very sure she could accommodate our date, i was very excited as was my then fiancé. I began ordering invitations, decor etc for my special day 10-21-23. We were then invited to an open house at Wedding Kiss to meet vendors, look at the room set up etc We get there Traci very standoffish but we met with Kisha her assistant. ( prior to this we had a phone meeting set up that Traci missed, but her assistant Kisha stepped in at the 11th hour to make) It was at this open house that I started to side eye Traci and her nonexistent customer service but I thought maybe it was me because I'm a nervous Nelly already. At this time she'd already received payment from us. Open house was mid/late July. It wasn't until August 3rd that I received an email from wedding kiss Traci saying that she pretty much double booked my wedding date and the other people had paid in full 12/22... Now to me I feel like that's nonsense because if you run and own a business, you should have double checked the dates before taking a persons money... it was like a OOPS on her part and that was that... she offered me 325 for the mix up ok yeah no my invitations were well over 400 and it's not about the money but all the personalized items with the date on it and how many people had already RSVP'd for that date.. that couldn't make the new date... and it was just like oh well... that's when I decided to look at the REVIEWS!!! That says pretty much you'll NEVER get your money back, and with the late notice I couldn't find another VENUE... so I was stuck... I purchased EVERYTHING FOR MY WEDDING I USED VERY LITTLE SUPPLIES FROM WEDDING KISS!!! After the date mishap which was switched to 10-22-23! She NEVER RESPONDS TO CALLS, TEXT or even meetings she schedules. I understand people have other things going on but when you own a business especially dealing with the public. You have to be more responsible, courteous and professional. She was not empathic AT ALL! What she did was push me off to her assistant Kisha, who worked her behind off for us to have the day we wanted or at least she tried her best!!! I truly THANK HER! But Traci I hope to NEVER ENCOUNTER HER AGAIN... she didn't even approach me on our wedding day at her place, after offering to pray with me... she's truly TRULY A PISS POOR BUSINESS PERSON AND THE REASON WE AS BLACK PEOPLE HAVE A HARD TIME SUPPORTING EACH OTHER... Overall, I do appreciate all that Kecia and the other staff and vendors that was provided for our wedding.... BEWARE... if you choose this VENUE PLEASE DO NOT DEAL WITH THE OWNER!!!

I want to say this ballroom is amazing. I’m still crying.. It rained the day of my wedding but Tracy and her staff was amazing..They decorated, and our ceremony was beautiful. I enjoyed the intimate touch that she gave us when we did our vows. And how she encourages us in marriage, and what it means to be married in God, I recommend this place to anyone who would like to have an intimate and very memorable marriage my husband even said our first year anniversary will be here where going to book it soon as we get back for our honeymoon . That’s how much he loved it. Thank you so much for making my day so wonderful..

I loved how prepared they are. When my event came, it flowed so effortlessly. The staff is so nice. So sweet. Thank you for a fantastic evening.

Where do I even start? This place is a SCAM! DO NOT BOOK! The only reason I even gave it one star is because I don’t have the option to give it a ZERO!I’ll have to assume that the good reviews are PAID reviews because the service I received does not match up to the reviews AT ALL.I will start with - this is the most unprofessional, distasteful, degrading venue I’ve ever worked with in my entire life! The owner sold my family and I A DREAM when we first inquired about this space. A dream that was completely opposite from what our reality was. There are so many things I want to discuss but I would be writing a book.1. The owner is a prime example of throw the rock and hide your hand. She did an awful job and left her employees to deal with us. She ran away from the venue, told her workers she was coming back to solve our issues and NEVER showed up!2. Her workers are disrespectful, unprofessional, degrading people who have no respect or regard for ANYONE.. the way they treated my family and I was extremely DISTASTEFUL!!!!!!!3. Oh, let’s get into the WORST PART, my family and I paid almost $3k for the all inclusive package that included decor and a CAKE!!! Let’s get into the plates that were used for the decor were from DOLLAR TREE!!!! Absolutely tacky and cheesy. The balloon arch was INCOMPLETE. Oh and the BEST PART, there was no cake!!!!! My grandma had to celebrate her 70th birthday party with NO cake.. They told us the owner was on her way with the cake. Ha! Jokes on us, she NEVER came. Then she had the nerve to lie and say we said we were bringing a cake. A cake is the MOST important part of a birthday … why would we lie about bringing one? Then after she offered us $100 back for not having a cake? Miss lady, I thought you said we were bringing a cake.. why are you now offering us $100 back? SHE LIED ABOUT SO MANY THINGS!This venue is full of DISRESPECTFUL SCAM ARTISTS. RUN WHILE YOU CAN!!!!! They will surely ruin your special event as they did ours!!!!!

This is the worse and unprofessional black own company my family and I have dealt with. They don't deserve a star. I would give a negative if that was a choice. They took our money and failed to provide the services discussed in the meeting they and my family had. They over charged for a unprofessionalism. During this horrible service, I heard from other folks who have been scam by these unprofessional individuals. Also, they stole 4 trays of our food. Don't trust them. The owner left her workers to deal with her unprofessionalism! Although she stated she was coming, but never showed up. This service was very sad and unprofessional!

I highly recommend wedding kiss!You will never be disappointed because the staff is very professional ,the place is amazingly beautiful.And I must tell you this that Tracey better yet the fairy God mother, did an exceptional job!I was very impressed and my wedding was perfect!I could not ask for more,well done wedding kiss team!!
