My sessions with Brian were far more enriching than I would've expected. Sometimes it felt very pleasurable and other times it felt challenging in a bracing way, like exercise after months of not exercising.
When I think about my sessions with Brian, three memories stick out to me. One was when he fixed my neck pain from lifting that had persisted for a couple of weeks. I assumed that I had a sprain that would take several weeks to heal, but apparently not. The second was that in between sessions I noticed that my deep squat position felt unbelievably comfortable. Been searching for a rolfer for many years that would compare to my original rolfer who trained under Ida Rolf...... found him!Amazing first session.... so happy to have found him!!
Brian has fixed things that I wasn't sure could ever be fixed!After a few knee surgeries and various sports injuries, I was out of balance in all sorts of little ways. I needed to do deep knee bends, for example, but it was so uncomfortable that I wasn't doing them anymore. He figured out where things were too tight and bound up and for the first time in about two years, I can comfortably do all these exercises again! All the movements that used to be vaguely uncomfortable are fluid again. Every time I leave his office and walk down Walnut Street I feel an epiphany..."So THIS is how it feels to be balanced all over!"And the treatments he makes STICK.... read full review
