I like the office and the people. I just don't like the prices! I took my puppy for shots and I got charged vet fee and price for shots which was ok. So now the 3rd set of shots is 3wks later and they want to charge me another $75 to exam him again??? Plus price for shots. I also was going to get him fixed there, but that would be $500-$600. I took my other dog last year and the prices went up since then.

We have been bringing our furry friend to The Pet Mechanic for three years now, and I have always left satisfied that he's receiving the best care possible. The technicians are thorough and show obvious care for the animals that they see. The veterinarians are always very patient, knowledgeable, and willing to answer all of our questions. It's super easy to schedule an appointment, and there are always plenty available across a range of times to suit our schedule. It's also very reasonably priced there as well!

Tanya and Dr Coates were very kind and reassuring about my kitty's care. She needed a tooth extraction, I was so anxious about bringing her in, they calmed me down and were very helpful about figuring out payment. (It's still going to cost a lot, but I love my baby so I'll figure it out). Also, Missy booked my appointment; I had been calling and texting other vet practices and hospitals, she showed a lot of empathy and followed up when a spot opened. All around great experience with very nice people, thank you! I was very anxious and they were calming.

my regular vet said my 12 year old cat probably needed dental work and told me find a cat dental specialist. I chose pet mechanic and also chose DR. Richard. as it turned out- my cat was in VERY GOOD hands! Dr. Richard removed 8 teeth from my old cat with no complications. he was kind, thoughtful and imformed me of everything that would take place before and during the surgery.

Pet Mechanic is a fitting name for a vet that treats pets like objects.

My elderly dog has come here for 4 months. This office is unprofessional and could not write a prescription correctly for a controlled substance, requiring multiple trips between their office and pharmacy. My overall impression of the office being unprofessional was due to the following: staff pulled blood from my dog in my presence, Dr. Sayeed nor Dr. Richard could write a prescription, I had to follow up to get referrals made and to get results. Results of the tests were not thorough and when I called asking for more information I had to pay $50 for a consult with a new doctor. I had to send a picture to Dr. Richard to illustrate how to write the script resulting in him having staff call me to ask me to review it. I explained I wasn’t qualified and hoped the picture I sent would suffice. However, he did not understand where to sign it and it was still not accepted at the pharmacy. Overall, I think the doctors have little experience and don’t care about animals.

The team at The Pet Mechanic South Street provided incredible care for both of my cats. Most recently, we had a relatively major emergency visit. During which, they helped ease anxiety while continuing to provide excellent care during limited kitty minutes.Much love to Dr Sayed and the team!

Great vet (Dr Richard) and care team, including Sarah and Marcus. The front desk team is so nice as well. They did an awesome job on our bulldog’s ear surgery for a hematoma. They explained everything and were transparent about the costs.
