I brought my dress to Sung Cleaners on a Sunday and asked if my bridesmaid dress could be taken in by Wednesday and the tailor said she could do it for me! (I didn't get her name, sorry). My dress needed a couple inches taken off the waist and she was able to sew it up PERFECTLY! It was a pretty basic dress so I'm sure it wasn't too challenging, but I couldn't even tell where she made the changes it was so well done! She even steamed it for me :,) Thank you so much for helping me in such short notice!

This place is a real anachronism. Not because it is a dry cleaners that still does alterations and tailoring by hand, but rather because it is a small, independent-run shop which takes pride in their work, is courteous, professional, efficient, and the staff are consistently friendly and helpful even when it requires---wait for it---problem solving. Definitely not the sort of shop found often in one of the most miserable cities on earth. Oh, they also do good alteration work but honestly after being treated like a human being in the course of running errands in Philadelphia, I'd nearly forgotten all about what I was there for in the first place.Got to pay for alterations...read full review
