I can't believe I've been sleeping on this hidden gem! 2 months ago I decided it was time for a change from my nail salon. I walked into Solace on a humbug, no appointment. The salon is clean and the atmosphere is welcoming. Latty welcomed me and immediately booked me into her next open slot. By the end of my visit I knew I was coming back. My nails/toes were cute and neat. Latti took her time with the details of my designs. She made sure I was happy with the results. It's always good when I can be satisfied while supporting black business. I have returned since my first visit and will be back.
I am a returning customer, I only go to this salon in Philly. The energy is always great And they always try to accommodate you. The owner/boss she always makes conversation with the customers and is very hands on. I never felt uncomfortable or like they are talking about me although I have felt like that at other places that I have went to. To me the staff gives big sister/mom energy that makes you feel comfortable and confident.
The one time I went there, I had just left the doctor’s office from getting an iron infusion so I’ve been sitting all day but I was giving birth soon and needed to get my nails and my toes done. I was very antsy and couldn’t stay still....read full review
