Salon K is located in Center City and offers excellent barbering and hairstyling services for both men and women. They support college students with a discount and are welcoming to the LGBT community. The stylists are highly skilled and knowledgeable, with a reputation for providing fantastic cuts and colors. Kay, one of the stylists, is particularly praised for her talent, meticulousness, and ability to listen to her clients' needs. She has taken over for a previous stylist who passed away, maintaining a high level of satisfaction for their clients. Bill is another stylist who is known for his great stories and happy clients. Many customers have been coming to Salon K for several years and recommend it to their family and friends. The salon's atmosphere is pleasant, and they have a Barbie display in the window that adds a fun touch.
Had a fantastic experience at Salon K. Kay is a talented and experienced hairdresser, and she gave me a fabulous cut. I was running crazy late (thanks, SEPTA) and she was understanding, and still took time to get my cut right. So happy to have found such a great salon and a stylist as knowledgeable and skilled as Kay.
I have been coming to Salon K for my cut/color for 10 years. I love the stylists and the atmosphere and Kay’s Barbie display in the window is always fun! Sadly my stylist passed away earlier this year but Kay took over my hair and it has been seemless. I highly recommend this salon and for years have been telling everyone looking for a Salon in Philly. I moved over the bridge and still head into the city to see them. While Bill has not cut my hair, he has some great stories and from what I have seen his clients walk away happy!
