Rittenhouse Dentistry: David Gardner, DMD

Having hated going to the dentist my whole life, and this being my first dentist since moving to Philadelphia, I was a little wary about my appointment with Dr. Gardner. Immediately, he put me at ease when he personally met me at the front door, and I recognized his personable demeanor. His office is cozy, with a single room for him to work in, but he has all the technology you'll need for your appointments right there. He is extremely easy to talk to, makes you feel comfortable and at home the minute you walk in the door, and he did a wonderful job of teaching me as he was going. Dr. Gardner is an excellent dentist and the best I've seen in Philly (out of 4). Whenever I have questions, he always explains himself very well and in caring fashion. Unlike some of the other dentists in the city, whom I prefer to not name, Dr. Gardner is never pretentious, condescending, and not out to drill baby drill. For this reason, he is my go-to dentist, especially whenever I have questions, even if I have to travel from far outside the city, as I no longer live in Center City. I highly recommend and can't thank him enough for his stellar work

I knew he was good, he’s been my dentist for a while, but he outdid himself with my recent root canal! Absolutely NO pain. I was terrified and he made me feel comfortable and a part of Team Root Canal. I’m not going to tell you to run out and get your own root canal (he wasn’t a magician), but if your looking for an extraordinary dentist, Dr Gardner is the man.
