I started going to see Dr. Rivera in July 2023 because I had finally had been diagnosed with SPD (symphysis pubis dysfunction). I was 8 months pregnant and dealing with pain in my pelvic area that had been building since April 2023. My OB discouraged me from trying physical therapy to help out with my pain for awhile until we had no other options. I was getting close to the point of pain where I thought I was going to be on bed rest. All it took was 2 sessions with Dr. Rivera and it was like I was a new woman. 12/10!! I couldn't recommend Restore PT & Pelvic Health more!! I got to work with Gabi, and not only is she incredibly knowledgeable (I saw immediate results after just one session with her!!) and professional, she is so understanding and empathetic. Restore PT puts so much effort into making the space comfortable for every patient that walks through the door. I had such a fantastic experience. Unfortunately, it was cut short due to a family emergency and I wasn't able to complete all of my sessions. But I am continuing with exercises/stretches and am noticing improvement daily. Gaby was a great therapist to work with postpartum. She worked with me to find exercises that worked effectively and within my life, and made sure I was comfortable with the process.
