We completed a gut rehab of a row-house two years ago and engaged Rare Heating and Air to install a new mini-split system. It has worked fantastic and exceeded expectations during the coldest and hottest weeks of the last two years. The service and communication each step of the way during the process was great. Just completed the first cleaning and servicing of the units since installation. Pricing is reasonable and the work was thorough. Great company to work with.

Rair Air HVAC knows their stuff! They think repair over replace and I appreciate that. I also appreciate their response time, communication and fair pricing. They repaired an ongoing HVAC issue I was having for years and diagnosed it in minutes. They also replaced an old water heater and I couldn’t be more pleased. Highly recommend!

Expert doesn’t cover all that you get with Rare Heating and Air. Not only is Shawn a master at his trade, he is professional, timely and super meticulous , We had an emergency when our AC motor went out. Other AC companies tried to sell us a new unit. Shawn tracked down a new motor and has us up and running in less than 2 hours!!!! The AC has never been quoted and more efficient!!! We can’t thank Shawn enough for taking time from vacation. Thank you for caring!!! We would highly recommend Shawn and his team!!!! They truly live up to their name, “Rare” Heating and Air- hard to come by this type of artisan workmanship these days!!!
