Sadly, despite the benefits I felt from the Iyengar class I took here, I would not go back for Iyengar due to the instructor's style which I found demotivating and demoralizing. But this co-op offers a variety of other styles of yoga also. It's nice that the community can support alternatives for both students and teachers. So, while I would not go back for the Iyengar, I would definitely consider taking classes of other styles yere.

my husband and i went for a vinyasa flow with rosie, and it was amazing. the vibe & room were cozy, the free mat/prop rentals (extremely sustainable), and the flow was a perfect mix of relaxing, challenging, and reflective with her choice of asanas and explanations. it was perfect for beginners and intermediates with a balanced flow.

to note -- the donation-based practices ($5 minimum, more than fair!!) are an amazing concept & is really inviting to everyone.

will be going routinely! perfectly energizing & clarifying!!

Really special spot to practice. My philly experience truly would not have been complete without taking a class with Ellen. Compact studio space with all the loaner equipment and great community you need. Wish I lived here just to take regular classes. Easy to pay via Venmo. Don’t be late!
