Angel is INCREDIBLE! She paid meticulous attention when filing and applying the dip powder to my nails, gave me guidance on how to achieve a nail color combination I love, and was also a pleasure to chat with! She uses thoughtful techniques that make me trust her with my nails, especially as she does not stand for using a machine grinder like other places do that has thinned my actual nails down in the past. I would highly recommend going here!

Angel is very lovely and the place is clean. Would be five stars as my nails looked great when I left. However the next morning my gel nails had all bubbled which has never happened to me before with gel polish.

Angel is so kind and a perfectionist with respect to the work she does. This is a small no-frills family-owned place. I’ve struggled to find a nail salon here in Philly as I’m in town from NYC for work for the summer and I am so glad I found Angel and her salon! The facilities are clean and Angel is very careful to remove gel in a way that is healthy for the nails. I will definitely be back!Service: Manicures

My feet have never felt as clean from a pedicure as Angel made them feel. The personalized attention is fantastic! I almost fell asleep the manicure was so relaxing. I do recommend making an appointment as it is only one artist and it is not meant for big groups. Best to go by yourself or with one other person. All genders/identities welcome.

I’ve been going to Angel for a few months now. Angel is an excellent nail tech. My nails have never been stronger, and her gel manicures last longer than any I’ve had before usually 3.5-4 weeks. Angel does not use an electric file and does everything by hand to keep nails from getting brittle. Angel runs this place alone, so an appointment is required. Hands down best manicures in philadelphia.Services: Gel manicure

she was able to fit me in but definitely call because her schedule fills up fast. when i was there she was a one-woman show. she takes her time and is very careful, and she does not use an e file so it is more gentle on the nails. i got a dip set with color gel tips for $60 which i felt was very reasonable for the city. she did 4 coats of dip and went over my gel and cured multiple times to be sure it was done. i will definitely be back

I had a bad experience at another Philly nail salon that I had gone to for years which lead me to Polished By An Angel. And when I met Angel she was just that! I have never had a gel manicure that hasn't peeled or chipped before my next appointment until now!! I was so impressed by her thoughtfulness & care during the manicure she truly has a gift. Angel is great, she really takes the time to pay attention to detail and doesnt rush with you even when she has clients waiting. She is also very gentle with her work. I had a lovely experience and hope to come back next time im in philly. Call ahead and book an appointment, worth it.
