The place looks nice and the barber was friendly enough but I just paid $50 for a bad haircut. He started to cut it as a part, which I didn’t ask for, then I had to tell him four times that it was uneven. I get home and I found that the left side was still really uneven and I fixed it myself.
Also, walk ins only and as soon as I got in the only free barber went on lunch so I waited like twenty minutes. The person on the phone wasn’t very polite when I asked for an appointment. It’s so hard to find a trustworthy barber in Philly. I won’t be back at this one

i have had two haircuts here. the first was very nice. the second was terrible. the guy cutting my hair last Monday (he never gave his name, barely spoke) botched my very normal, simple cut. he actually missed a large patch that i needed to fix when i got home! He acted like he didn't care at all. And his styling of my hair was just kind of funny and bad. it's really roulette with which barber you're going to get, as the first one i saw in March was great. Also, the place smelled... weird... like something mildewy or off. Definitely, DEFINITELY not a $50 haircut experience! i really wanted to like this place after my first successful haircut. but the final straw was when he actually insulted my religion while bantering with another employee. Now, that's a little over the top. i gave the guy a tip nonetheless and left without a fuss. i will simply just not patronize this place again.

I have never been to Nic grooming before. Yesterday I walked in and was immediately greeted by the 2 barbers, Dillon and Mark. I haven't been in a barbershop in Philadelphia and am new to the area. I have my regular barber back home in New Jersey who has been cutting my hair forever. So I am used to getting the skin fade and razor line up. Mark cut my hair, and after we talked for a little bit about the particulars and how I usually get cut, man, he went to work! I felt so comfortable, with a free cold beer and the awesome conversation, I can tell anyone that I feel like I literally got the best fade and finishing work with the straight razor that I have ever had in my life. I got a shampoo before the haircut and a wash on the way out the door. I never felt so fresh! Thank you Mark, I will definitely be returning!!!

I highly recommend this barber shop! I had my hair cut with Paul and he is excellent: very professional, efficient, and pleasant. I got exactly the cut I wished for, in a timely fashion, and while having an enjoyable conversation. It is worth the price

I have been searching for a good haircut stylist in Philly since I moved here six months ago! I tried different hairstylist, and none of them were good enough. I have very fine and pixie haircut, so that can be tricky. Until I found Yana! She is super talented and sweet! She corrected my haircut, and now my hair is stunning again!
