My wife has been trying to resolve an issue after her company transferred short and long term disability plans from Matrix to Lincoln last year. She filed all the necessary paperwork with rep Cortney Worthy months ago. Called emailed, and texted multiple times, yet this company still hasn’t responded. It is alarming that even after completing and submitting all the required documentation, the representative still hasn’t responded. My wife’s hip surgery is fast approaching within a week, and still no answer from what seems like a negligent company! Please be aware that Lincoln Financial is failing miserably when it comes to resolving customer complaints!

I was out on UNPAID sick leave for a month and they gave me a total of $461.75. I went back to work four days Early and they want $92.35 back. As what they gave me did not even pay Half of my rent and I work paycheck to paycheck, it would take me a couple months to be able to give them that money back because I needed to catch up with unpaid living expenses.Within a month they already turned it over to collections. Lincoln financial obviously needed the money more than I did. If I ever get sick again, please do not give me money that I didn’t even ask for and then want it back!!!

My husband passed away had a pension with Lincoln Financial Group. I was entitled to half that pension. so far have not received one penny from them. I have sent all their paper work and some how they never received it. This goes on all the time. I have sent them by mail faxed them over and they tell me they never received it even when I have a confirmation that they did. They are the worst company I ever came across of. I donot advise anybody to use this company they are the worst. I still have not received the pension and probably won't because they are incompete company is that the way you do business SHAME ON YOU. You lie all the time have no system in place and never can find anything that was sent to you. Go to hell.

I work for Thomas Jefferson University hospital they contracted Lincoln financial for our FMLA and also long and short-term disability.. I don't know if this company is a prankster but when they do their job it comes at a cost of you doing all the footwork and handwriting and submitting. Today they sent me 15 forms to fill out based on long-term and short-term disability The forms had nothing to do with disability based on asking me about social media information from my resume and nothing about health 15 pages of nonsense that I had to submit in order for them to submit or make payments for my long-term and short-term disability no health questions. This company is bogus just like the company I work for that does not take employee health and safety serious. Deal with this company with the long handle spoon and get a lawyer if you don't understand the jargon and nonsense that they set up for you.

If you're not making good money at your job, they ask. Or if you have any kind of prescription meds that will put you in a high risk category they check your medical records. If you're over 40 you will get denied life insurance coverage. It's all about statistics in algorithms. This company will judge you based on whatever they find online about you. Just remember you can revoke any permission you gave them when you filled out the application for life insurance.

Not a company you want handling your personal needs in a time of sadness. If you're not making good money at your job.. they ask. Or if you have any kind of prescription meds that will put you in a high risk category they check your medical records. If you're over 40 and are a minority you will get denied coverage. It's all about statistics in algorithms. This company will judge you based on whatever they find online about you. Just remember you can revoke any permission you gave them when you filled out the application for life insurance.

1 star is the lowest any company can receive. I wish I could give this company negative points. They are the worst. All you do as a customer is call and call and call. No one seems to know anything. I have been callingfor three weeks straight still no updates. This is after being given the run around for 2 weeks prior so a total of 5 weeks. Customer service is ridiculous. Do not deal with this company..

I wish there was a way to reach more people to warn them about this band of lying, cheating, extortionists. Lincoln Financial Group does not care about their policyholders and they steal money from senior citizens with their Universal Life policies. My mother-in-law has been covered by one of these horrible policies since 1985 and they did not do right by her. The policy currently costs $8000/year to keep in force and it keeps climbing. They deduct the escalating cost of insurance from her cash value until it is gone then they cancel the policy. So we have paid them over $80,000 in premiums over the years for a $200,000 death benefit. Now that she's 82, they will cancel the policy when her cash value runs out next month. They also have the audacity to charge 8% interest on a loan against her cash value amount (her own money). Horrible thieves. This is why everybody hates insurance! Because of these sleazy scumbags who have allowed this to happen. Have a good night's sleep Lincoln Financial Group. You must be very proud.
