Came in earlier this week GM lied to me about pricing and told me it comes with a guest pass for free as he was hiding that charge he also tried telling me there was no yearly fee but I caught that before signing this place could be so much better if people who wanted to join weren’t lied to very pleasant being there until meeting with him

I went to LA Fitness on Grant Ave to ask for help because I’m new to the gym and don’t know how to use the machines yet. I asked if someone could guide me, and they said no. Then I asked about personal training, and before even giving me information, the employee said “they pretty high,” in a dismissive tone, as if assuming I couldn’t afford it.
It felt very unprofessional and judgmental. New members should feel welcomed and supported, not looked down on for asking questions. This experience made me feel uncomfortable and discouraged.

Extremely disappointed with the hidden fees and dishonest sales tactics at this location. On May 7th, I signed up for two memberships on the $20/month plan. The manager, Robby, repeatedly assured me that the initial payment of $178.96 covered absolutely everything (first month, last month, and enrollment fees) and that no other charges would apply until next year.
Less than two weeks later, on May 19th, they hit my card with an unexpected $138 charge for an 'Annual Fee'. When I called, they simply told me it's standard procedure. Robby completely lied to our faces and hid this upcoming charge just to close the deal. This is highly unprofessional and deceptive. Watch out for their scams and read every single line of the contract, because the managers here will lie to you just to get your signature.

I’ve been coming to this location regularly and honestly the staff here are some of the nicest and most professional people I’ve dealt with, especially Daisy, who always goes above and beyond to help members and keep things running smoothly.
It’s disappointing seeing negative reviews when a lot of the real issue lately has been members repeatedly throwing water into the sauna and damaging equipment, which affects everyone trying to enjoy the facility respectfully. The staff can’t control every bad decision members make, yet they’re the ones constantly trying to maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment for everybody.
Also, anytime a female staff member has entered the men’s locker room while I’ve been there, they have always clearly announced themselves beforehand so nobody is caught off guard. The staff has consistently handled those situations professionally and respectfully.
Daisy deserves recognition for staying patient, respectful, and professional even when dealing with difficult situations. She genuinely cares about the members and the atmosphere here, and it shows every day.
I appreciate the hard work from the team and hope people recognize the difference between staff doing their jobs and members creating problems that impact the entire gym experience

Very disappointed with the lack of privacy standards at this location. Today around 4:40 PM, a female operations manager entered the men’s locker room without any prior announcement while members were changing.
A locker room is a private space where people may be partially or fully undressed, and staff should always announce themselves before entering. This situation felt highly unprofessional and extremely uncomfortable.
I have already filed a formal complaint with corporate and hope appropriate action will be taken. Members deserve privacy and respect in these spaces.
