I haven't been here in a while because when I was having some needs to be checked on that were time sensitive I had to wait too long & then the several times I did go I was given a new doc each time so I had to reexplain the symptoms each time and there was no progress which made my anxiety really bad. Eventually the problem went away, but I have gone to a new doc for check ups because they are more consistent. I hope it's different for other people.

This is a great practice! I unfortunately had to do the rounds with different Rheumatologists in Philly and NYC before landing on Jeff Rheumatology and I’m so thankful I established with them. I was in bad shape at the time and they got treatment started right away. Since then, Dr. Bean, Dr. Mendoza-Ballesteros and their fellows have seen me through a lot. They have consistently been conscientious, responsive and kind. I’m a physician myself, but before they even knew that I felt like they were going the extra mile to wrap their heads around my illness and develop a treatment plan without any pressure. I’m a new patient to this office and already don’t like the treatment. I spoke to a doctor who took my medical history which is long and extensive. After he took my history he came back with an attending. The first thing she said is we don’t think it’s Lupus or another disease based on your symptoms. My thing with that is even if you don’t suspect that how can they know without getting all of the relevant test to rule it out first. They told me it “may be” sarcoidosis but they’re not sure and cannot guarantee a diagnosis.
