I really enjoyed my experience here. It was a no frills "spa" experience. It felt nice knowing that my actual massage / muscle needs were being met instead of me feeling like a sales number like I do at other massage places. I personally got the 60 minute massage, my masseuse was phenomenal and we had great conversation, I wish I caught her name. I felt comfortable the whole time and my back / shoulders feel amazing today. I look forward to going back!

The first thing to notice upon entering Greenland Spa is the caring & attention given to providing a relaxing, reassuring, professional environment. This initial impression was reinforced when I was greeted by the receptionist and shown to the treatment room. Warm ambience, relaxing music provides a context for pleasant relaxation. The sense of caring, competent, professionalism was confirmed when my therapist entered & put me more at ease. I stumbled upon this place as I was walking through Northern Liberties. I am a new part-time resident in Philly and was familiarizing myself with the area. I must say that the professional, interesting/historic building caught my eye. I popped in and spoke to a diminutive, lovely woman who told me she was the owner. Xuan is her name. As an older athlete it seems the aches and pains are appearing more readily...especially in winter.
