I love this nail salon! It’s my go to place in the city, and that says a lot because there’s such an abundance of choices. It’s clean & nice, the people are always kind & do a great job.
This is my go to nail salon! Even when I moved out of the neighborhood I still go back here because they are clean, have professional service, are faster than a lot of other nail salons, and I’m satisfied with the results consistently. Love the pedicures especially. Whenever I go to another salon I feel like I am looking sideways at the dust and grime, and I never notice that at Genesis, they are very sanitary. Also, for some reason they seem to have a reputation for being expensive but at like $60 for a mani/pedi that’s pretty standard in my opinion. Some of the places in fishtown charge an arm and a leg for a lesser quality service.
I had been paying $60 plus tip for my pedicures where I used to live. Moved across from Genesis, and was thrilled with their reasonable prices, but nervous how they would turn out. No need or worry on my part, as it was the best pedicure I’ve ever gotten. The tech was meticulous in trimming my overgrown cuticles, specifically asked me how long I wanted my nails, so told her to do what she does, and they were perfect. Wide array of colors, types of nail treatments. The salon was very clean, and the people were so very pleasant. Highly recommended!
