I have been a customer to this neighborhood Hardware store for over 50years! I do believe it should be deemed a historical site🤭 Before there was Home Depot or a Lowes...Fern Rock Hardware was the only place to find the perfect screw! There was another old timie Hardware store on Cheltenham too..he died and the store is a sandwich shop. But not the old reliable 5th Street Hardware. I still go there for a screw or two and always to have my screens repaired 🥰🥰
I went there yesterday to make two sets of house keys. The copies were made quickly and they worked on the locks. I would have preferred if the copies didn't look exactly alike. My outdoor key now looks like my indoor key. Something to consider.
I go here when I don't feel like going to Home Depot or Lowe's & most of the time they have exactly what I need for a good price. There's nothing like a neighborhood hardware store, I gotta start going here for a 1st choice.
