After two back-to-back ankle surgeries — a broken left ankle and a ruptured peroneal tendon in my right — I found myself 20 lbs heavier, frustrated, and honestly pretty down. I have been training consistently for the past year and a half at Control Lab. Instructors are amazing, classes are not overcrowded, you move on your own pace and there’s always substitutions in case you can’t do an exercise. It gives the feeling of a personal training session but with friends.

I’ve been training at Control Lab for 2.5 years. I started training with Victor when my second child was a little over 6 months old! I appreciated that Victor understood and took into account all of my fitness and strength goals! He formulates training sessions with all of those goals in mind, pushing me harder week after week! He’s extremely knowledgeable, keeps the sessions motivating, fun and challenging. Hands down the best trainer I’ve ever worked with. But more importantly, Control Lab is a space for community and inclusivity. I love chatting with all of the trainers and clients who share the space during my sessions! It’s a little family!
