I have been thinking about getting a tattoo for a long time...since college. The fact that Im a chicken paired with my mother's dislike of body art...i just never got around to it. My husband and i decided to get tattoos together a few months ago and i made the arbitrary date of my birthday. A friend of his recommended a No Ka Oi (actually the sister establishment to this one, further up the street) and that's where we went. We didn't have an appointment and the wait was going to be a while so the lady told us to come to this place and called her friend ahead and told us the price. 3 locations around the same area on south street. It can be busy for walk ins so call ahead if you want a specific artist or don't want to wait. Prices and art are good. Be warned that no one is allowed back with you during the tattoo if you might be scared.

Popped in on a business trip to get a quick small tattoo with my co-worker. The vibe was so chill, everyone was very friendly and genuine. Would love to come back to the east coast someday and get some more work done here! Thanks guys!
