Had my car key and fob duplicated a little over a week ago by Shay for a reasonable price. Not sure if the machine used to cut the keys needed calibration but there were some cutting errors when he examined it. I had two keys cut and both ended up with an extra notch made when compared to the original (top key in photo). The keys still worked but would have preferred it if the duplicates matched the original more since I do not know how it will hold up long-term (similar to how you can use an incorrect bit size on a screw sometimes but it may strip over time) and it would suck if I needed to buy more blanks and make another copy in the future because of this. Called him for an estimate and he arrived within an hour and completed all our work same day. Historic door, funky locks and knobs and he did it all promptly and was great and even made extra keys for us. Highly recommend.
Called because I’m an idiot and realized they were around the corner. My man answered and met me on the corner tool in hand and had me inside my car in sub 5 minutes. Would highly recommend
