Last minute haircut...early morning. I had a big meeting coming up and needed to find a haircut that was open near center city. This place popped up and i called in whether they had any walk-in appointments. They said absolutely and i was able to come in 15 minutes and get taken care of right away. The haircut was $35 which was reasonable and they did a good job in cleaning up my hair. They washed my hair so i was able to head back into the office. Would come back here again.
I’ve been going here—or previous shops under the same management—for about 20 years. I always get a great cut. Anytime I’ve had to get a haircut anywhere else, it’s never been as good. Those hipster barber shops are tempting but you’ll get a better cut here and it’ll cost you way less.
To all Philadelphia locals: this is the place to get your haircut.The staff are wonderful, and after about 5 haircuts here, I can confidently say that they’re some of the best haircuts I’ve ever had. They usually have availability, even same-day, and I suggest you give them a try.The shop is conveniently located (near Rittenhouse Square) and they have a coat rack / bag hooks for your stuff in case you need it.A men’s haircut here is also pretty reasonably priced — I’ve looked all over and haven’t found the same quality:price ratio anywhere else.If you get the chance, you should try and have Rita as your hairdresser!
