My bridal party and I went to Azu to get our nails done before my wedding. Everyone there was so accommodating, kind, and professional. They were able to fit our large group and even opened early to ensure we were done in a timely manner. They offered great advice on what to do with my nails so they looked their best. The salon was clean, bright, and so cute. I will be going back to get my nails done again!

Sit by the fire on the first floor or sprawl out a bit in the upstairs library wherever you choose remember that It's a tiny space so make a reservation.

After living in our home for 30 years, we decided to renovate our master bathroom. We used New Hope Kitchen and Bath for the renovation. They have a wonderful showroom and they have samples of practically everything we needed. We chose the styles of the shower, bathtub, all of the tile, plumbing fixtures, cabinet doors, and quartz countertops. Victoria was very helpful to ensure we had everything necessary. Vlad came to our home soon after our showroom visit to measure our bathroom. He took photos and answered our questions. They provided a very detailed contract with the items we selected and the cost broken down with materials and labor. One thing we were very happy with was that they were going to use Schluter waterproofing in the shower. The only item that we needed to shop elsewhere for was the light fixture. We also had to visit the supplier of the quartz for the countertops and our windowsill to choose the color we wanted.
When it got close to the start date, Vlad came and brought the man who would be our main contractor for the work. When the start day arrived, demolition began and was finished quickly. The remodeling work was done efficiently and care was taken to keep the dust to a confined area of our bathroom. Work continued until the bathroom was completed. We are very pleased with the attention to detail and workmanship which were excellent.
The resulting bathroom is wonderful! The shower is bigger and better with marble tile floor and porcelain tile sides that rise to the entire 9’ ceiling height. The bathroom floor is also porcelain tile. The counter tops and window sill are quartz. There are recessed lights above the shower and tub which we never had before and a ceiling fan. We absolutely love the bathroom.

We got to New Hope pretty regularly and a few months ago, checked out frames at the store for the first time. Sergio was just great fun to speak with and there was zero pressure to but anything. But, one Pellicer frame caught my eye and eventually we just had to come back to purchase them. Sergio did an awesome job with the lenses and I get compliments on the frames all the time. In fact, received a compliment on the train this morning and it turns out they had just purchased glasses there as well. Would highly recommend him for great service and some of the best frames I've seen!

Mike came to my house and replaced our gutters and downspouts with larger ones. He fabricated them right on site. We were so pleased that I have recommended him to others. You will be pleased, too! I forgot to mention that I believe he put in leaf filters or gutter guards so my new gutters are never clogged with leaves.

From my very first appointment at Skin and Tonic (in their previous location in Peddler’s Village) some 20 years ago I knew I had finally found “my place”. Kerian was not only gentle and kind, but wildly knowledgeable about her craft & put that expertise to work to make me look and feel my best and healthiest self. She had an ease about her that allowed her to educate me without making me feel like the fool I was.
So not only had I finally found a place I knew I would return to again and again for self care and rejuvenation, but now when someone was looking for a “died and came back young and rich” kind of massage or a “have you had work done” class of facial I would be the one who would lean in and whisper behind my palm “oh you have to go to see Kerian at Skin & Tonic, she’s aaahhmazing. she’s probably booked until the next leap year, but tell her I sent you”. I was absolutely heartbroken when we moved out the area. I lost touch and bumbled about sampling different salons and never again finding the perfect aesthetician and eventually giving into the unkempt mom/vet tech trope I had once refused to entertain. Years passed and I returned to the area hunched shoulders, dull skin, translucent eyebrows, and all. I often fantasized about a spa day, but when I passed the Peddler’s Village a coffee shop stood where my haven once was. (I had a silent cry eating my feeling over a stale donut). So it was nothing short of kismet that Kerian appeared one day (with her adorable koolie’s at her side) as a client in my office! I honestly can say my knees wobbled a bit. Seeing my eyes turn dreamy as I waxed poetic about her skills and my once young and dewey skin, my colleagues promptly purchased me a gift card and booked me an appointment. Visiting her clinic the next week I knew I was home again and threatened to never see a dermatologist again if she even gestured once at a thought of retirement. Visiting her regularly has made my skin go from neglected dead fern in the corner of a waiting room to glowing ribbon winning botanical of the year. She given me back my confidence, my composure, and “my place”.

I stopped in on a whim so this was the first time Madison has cut my hair-she did an excellent job from start to finish and I’ll definitely have her cut my hair again in the future! This was a great experience from start to finish I was very pleased and will absolutely return.

Marina is the best. Walk-ins welcome. Not that I am Mr. Popular but of the people I am friendly with in town? Most all of them get their haircut by her. She is a local legend.
Best local barber shop. Always a terrific experience in a friendly atmosphere.... And always a great cut. I like to change styles from time to time, as well as try different beard and goatee options. Steve is consistently the best when it comes to listening and giving advice on what will work, and what won't.
Pro line is the BEST in new hope. They are very friendly, listen and take detail into what you are looking for. They provide wonderful services and also have great hair products. Anyone that walks out of that barbershop after an amazing haircut has a boost of confidence. 100% recommend!!

I don't review on Yelp often but wanted to provide a current review of David Witchell salon in Peddler's Village. The services that I receive are cut and highlight (I am a client of Kelly). She is superb, an artist. Yes, the services are expensive and for me: totally money very well spent. I receive partial highlights about twice a year. Kelly has never attempted to "sell" me on additional services. In fact, she has encouraged me NOT to highlight that often and instructed on the proper method to maintain the highlights. Her expertise in cutting is beyond what I have received in the past: I have had my hair cut in Paris (David Mallett), New York City-(Ric Pipino, Heidi Klum's ex-husband) and in Greenwich Connecticut-just some places and all very high end. The David Witchell salon and Kelly are outstanding and just as good, if not better than I've experienced before. Every cut that I've had (Kelly) grows in so well. The true sign of a great cut is how well your hair looks in the 6th week (yes, I can go that long between cuts!). I am often asked by strangers, where I get my hair done-always a compliment. Regarding the reviews about the front desk-I have not experienced rudeness at all. I note that many of the reviews about front desk attitude, occurred around Covid times, so maybe folks were on edge about that? I give folks the benefit of the doubt and a lot of grace. But that's just me :) Overall, this place is a gem.
I had the most wonderful experience with my recent facial treatment with Diane. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was calming and welcoming. Diane is super professional, knowledgeable, and made me feel completely at ease. She took the time to assess my skin type and customized the facial to address my concerns, including dryness and uneven tone. The products used smelled incredible and felt luxurious on my skin. The facial was relaxing, and I could feel the tension melt away. By the end of the treatment, my skin felt deeply cleansed, refreshed and had a healthy, radiant glow. I left feeling pampered and completely rejuvenated. I have already booked my next appointment, highly recommend to anyone looking to treat themselves or give their skin the attention it deserves.

Very nice, caring, and good-hearted people. I recently had to put my beautiful boy Spartan down, and it was extremely hard to say the least. Everyone here was very respectful and kind, and did the best they could to give me some time with him in his final moments. I'm crying as I'm writing this because it still hurts so badly I loved that dog SO MUCH, and although there was nothing that could really be done, it helped at least a little knowing that they let me be with him when it happened. I want to say thank you to the staff and doctors for everything. Although I wish the outcome was different, there was nothing more these people could've done. They helped me allow him to pass and end his suffering as humanely as possible. Thanks to Shawn, DaShawn, Bianca, Hunter, Stacie and Shogan for the card and everything else. I really appreciate it
Laurie is amazing! I went to her for myofascial release. Laurie takes the time to evaluate you and see exactly what you need. She has extensive knowledge of bodywork and healing. She was so thorough and helped treat me in areas that I didn’t know I needed. The combination of therapy/bodywork that she gave to me was the best! I relaxed to a point of relaxation that I haven’t felt in a very long time. She’s insightful, intuitive and professional. I highly recommend Laurie. What a gift to have someone like her in our area.
