Rittenhouse Internal Medicine Main Line

I do like my doctor. Practice falls off after that. No privacy at front desk as they ask personal questions. Front desk staff borders on arrogant or maybe just disinterest. Had labs done on a Friday. No word from Dr on Mon, Tues or Wed so I sent an email Thurs morning. No response. Then I followed up with a phone message that afternoon. No response. Friday I visited the office to get results. Front desk girl could find nothing in "the system" pertaining to any labs done for me. Said she would let dr know. (Apparently had no record of my attempts to contact them the day before.) Heard nothing, so at 4:15 called again and left a message. Still no response. I pay... read full review

I see Dr. B. I switched to this practice after years at a family doctor. Words aren't enough to say how wonderful I think Dr. B is. She has followed up with me after almost every appointment, she returns my calls quickly, answers all my many questions. I can always get an appointment, they put up with being late and calling to say so 15 mins before I'm due to be there. After sending me to see an ENT and the ENT not being able to schedule sinus surgery for two months Dr. B found another equally as good ENT to take me right away. I'm thrilled to use the practice and be a patient here.

I come from a family of doctors, which has enabled me not to get a primary physician. Eventually, they decided to stop enabling me and I was forced to get my own doctor. It's not that I never got one, it's that I never kept one. It's amazing how many incompetent doctors are out there. I once had a doctor order me labs for my kidney stone problem. Almost 3 years later and she still hasn't called me to tell me my results (FYI, I had 4 kidney stones!). I mention this to lead up to why Rittenhouse Women's Wellness Center is a breath of fresh air.
