My first encounter was about 2-3 weeks ago or so. Dr. Harnish was great, friendly enough, professional. My old place which I won't mention, had a lack of atmosphere. Although I liked the optometrist, had him for years. My old glasses, were tight on my head and just a pain. I upgraded even though Dr. Harnish said I didn't change much. No pressure. I got Flexxon frames and all the upgrades on polycarbonate lenses. Love the new glasses. Way better price than my last set from 2 years agoish. They're feather light, fit well enough. If the frames hold up reasonably and the lenses as well, I'm a happy camper. Templin has a roomy, comfy waiting room, latest equipment, friendly and professional staff. I'll definitely go back next year, though they didn't make me an appointment. Perhaps they call or send a note USPS. The fitting session seemed to be with a newbie, didn't know his way around the computer program and that's fine, everyone's gotta learn their job. Love the place so far.

Had my first visit tonight. LOVE Dr. Templin and her staff!!! friendly and knowledgeable. she listened to me and almost immediately knew what my issue was...a wrong script. and she was right!! The script I was wearing for the last year was too strong!! I can see to read again!!! she sent me home with a few variables to try and then we will go with what I feel most comfortable doing. LOVE HER!!! Found my new eye Dr!!
