Removing the carpet, after seven decades of multiple dog owner’s pet accidents (mine included), revealed deep stains. My hardwood floors looked like a pee-pee Pollock painting. Longing for smaller throw rugs, I started shopping for floor refinishers. Todd came in to consult and shared a dose of honesty. A few of the stains could not be removed and more expensive surgical replacement may be necessary. However, he advised against the pricier option and went to work. A work-week later he disproved his original concern. My floors now look amazing. He did truly great work. I am a very happy customer.“

“We envisioned a new deck that would embrace the woodsy character of our rear yard. We selected a minimalist stainless steel handrail system that enhanced the view of the forest from the deck. Other prosepective contractors shied away from our project presumably because of the custom product we selected. We selected Doug because he listened carefully to our ideas and expressed confidence that A-Line was up to the task. Once the framing and flooring was completed, Doug worked closely with the handrail manufacturer to provide as-built measurements and photos prior to fabrication. Doug and Pat and the crew then assembled the new railing system on-site. The new deck and railing is gorgeous. It reflects incredible attention to detail. The project exceeded our expectations. Doug remained in close communication with us throughout the project...very personable and business-like approach. “Installed 800 sq ft of hardwood flooring and sanded & refinished the entire area matching the color to our existing floors……“

“I contacted Jim on a Friday and he came the following Wednesday to stretch the carpeting in two downstairs rooms. One room is 14x16’ and the other is about 16x18’ with an angled wall that extends the size to 16x21’ on one end. That room is bit more challenging because of a support beam in the center, which is framed in drywall and baseboard, and the carpet had ripples on all sides of the beam. Jim arrived promptly and immediately got to work. He was very nice and personable throughout and explained what he was doing as he proceeded. He clearly has a lot of experience and knew exactly how to address the problem of the support beam. He completed the job in 3 hours and it looks better than new. I am extremely pleased with Jim’s work and would definitely hire him again.“
