Booked an appointment over the phone. Had a gift card so they do not need a credit card to book, they AGREE to book it anyways. I get there, NOBODY actually booked the appointment. So, I worked night shift, slept very little to work with their schedule and it's 40 minutes from my house and then no appointment. I get upset and they don't like it, so they ban me from coming there. When the receptionist gets smart with me and smirks, I get upset. This was to help my pain which is a lot. So much for the gift card. I do not recommend this place at all, since they cannot allow the customer to be upset at all!

I had one of the most humiliating and unprofessional customer experiences of my life at this location.

When I arrived for my appointment, the massage therapist immediately pointed out redness on my face and asked, in front of others, whether it was a “fever blister.” I told her I did not believe it was — that it was either healed skin or a pimple — and that I also have rosacea. Despite this, she involved the manager and other staff in the waiting area and continued discussing my face and supposed concerns in front of other customers who were staring at me.

I had driven over an hour for this appointment and had to arrange a babysitter to be there. After all of this, I was told that it was “at the therapist’s discretion” whether she was willing to touch my face, and she chose not to. There was no private conversation, no respectful handling of the situation, and no attempt to resolve it in a professional way.

They then told me I could come back at 2:45 and ask a different esthetician if they would be willing to touch my face — after I had already been publicly embarrassed and dismissed.

Even if there had been a legitimate concern, it should have been handled discreetly and professionally, not turned into a spectacle in a crowded lobby.

This experience was emotionally distressing, unnecessary, and deeply disrespectful. I will never return, and I strongly caution others that this location does not treat clients with basic dignity or compassion.

Unfortunately, some of the estheticians charge you for services you either did not ask for or ones they originally told you were free. Do not have a way of handling matters in a mature, professional sense. Cancelled my membership due to these experiences.

just beware that if you go to hand stone and buy a certificate, please make sure it's in your profile. I was told several times it was in my profile and then when I went to pay, it wasn't there. I was told I could use my Daughter's service that she had on her profile which I didn't know she had. It took me a while to find the code of the email my daughter sent me for my Mother's Day gift to pay for my facial after I was told previously it was in my profile. The ladies at the desk were no help at all and gave me wrong information. I convinced my daughter to use her service in Pittsburgh. She did and when she went to pay there was no service in there at all. So either the computer system there stinks, or people At the front desk need better training. What a hassle. It was not a relaxing experience. The facial was fine, but definitely not worth $140.

I got a Maternity massage through them and they called me two days before my massage appointment and told me I can use the gift card promo so they charged me $79 that day then on the day of my massage they charged me $144 for full price + I asked the manager why is that then she said “aww sorry I will refund you back $50” then I had to tell her again that you already charged my charged my card $79 then $144 you need to give me $129 back! She said that I will have the full $129 back! So we will see, i wasn’t really mad about the money taken but about the fact that they tried to scam me thinking I’m stupid! I will never go back there again , thank you for stressing me out while I was 28 weeks pregnant, please don’t leave your debit or credit cards in their system , you will be over charged .
