The physical therapists, occupational therapists, and nurses who followed up with my mother after her four-day stay at the hospital were kind, caring, and efficient when evaluating and working with her.

It must be challenging for staff to keep up when they constantly have new patients rotating into their schedules. I liked the fact that they called and texted, as that was convenient for me. The hardest part for me was that the staff many times contacted me late in the evening the day before seeing her. Every Amedisys staff member who worked with me during my recovery was very friendly, very professional, very caring and just outstanding overall. I had experience with another home health agency after an earlier surgery, and Amedisys was a much better fit for me and I felt much more comfortable with their care. I have another surgery scheduled and will again be requesting Amedisys.
