406 Hershey Rd, Elizabethtown“We left our dog Scooter for an overnight at Playful Pups Retreat. He had never been there before. He is high energy, and lots of nervous energy. He has had lots of pain from recent torn ligaments in his knees and has arthritis. And he is a little older at 10 and a half. He can be very finicky at taking his food and medicines when away from home. But the staff at Playful Pups showed so much patience and understanding! They gave him activities that he absolutely loved! He came home to us tired, but very happy! He was himself and obviously had been very well cared for while he was there! We are so happy we have used Playful Pups Retreat and we look forward to having Scooter board there again soon!“

They’re incredibly personable, extremely smart and truly care for you and your fur-family member. If you want exceptional care and customer service, go to Hershey Veterinary Hospital.“

920 E Main St, Palmyra“Palmyra Animal Clinic has been great to us. We recently moved to the Hershey area and were in need of a caring, competent vet who was also reasonably priced. We found all these things and more as we had to make a tough decision to put our one dog down due to significant health issues and then care for our 13.5 year old golden retriever- who has made an awesome recovery! Thanks so much!“

721 N Harrisburg St, Steelton“Our family got a new puppy "Rocky" and it has been a long time since we had a dog. So as time went by, we realized we needed some help to curb our buddy Rocky's energy. (lab a doodle) We did the PetSmart training with some success but that really only helped us understand the basics of training, Rocky and Us needed more. So, we found several trainers in the area and went with In Command Dog Training for several reasons. They worked with our schedule, good reviews, and middle of the road pricing ...not cheap but not over the top. We met with Ian and went over our issues with Rocky's behavior. (nipping, jumping, and stealing lol) Ian laid out a plan to address the issues. He took Rocky and 1 week later returned with...a different dog. Still the fun, happy go lucky pup, just without the nipping, jumping and stealing. Now it didn't all go away as his owners we still needed to put in the work to continue to train him and ourselves. 3 weeks later he continues to improve, and we are at a point I never thought we would be at. Thanks Ian!“

49 Pleasant View Rd, Grantville“Our 2 pups recently spent a week at KHPR while we traveled and I was so happy with the care and attention they received. I received pictures of them and updates which was greatly appreciated. Our dogs are only boarded once or twice a year so it takes them a little time to settle in and the staff paid extra attention to ensure they enjoyed their stay. We live in FL, but travel to be with family very often and I’ve already booked another stay for our pups when we’ll be traveling to a family wedding. I’m so happy to have a “pet resort” where we feel comfortable leaving our babies when in PA.“

7540 Allentown Blvd # 3, West Hanover“I had my first visit to Redfern Canines and it could not have been better. I attended the two hour introduction lead by owner Betsy. No dogs are allowed at the introduction to eliminate distractions. The introduction was very informative, professional and very relaxing. Betsy truly knows dogs, is a very good communicator, patient and a truly nice and caring person. I have had six Golden Retrievers over the years and have attended many different training programs. None of these programs gave me such a positive impression from the start.
Admittedly I have not gone through the puppy/beginner class so I will update my review after completing the class. I can’t imagine the class will be anything but 5 Stars.
One hint for someone considering Redfern is to volunteer for the one group exercise. I can attest that the volunteers will learn a lot. The other people in the small group will be watching you and you may feel a bit awkward but have fun with it because it is fun interacting with Betsy as she trains you. You’ll have fun and learn what it’s like for a dog to be in training. It’s a very clever exercise.“

“The Staff at Greenlin was outstanding! They sent me pictures and a video daily of Ziva playing outside with the staff. I received a text and a call about a Hotspot that suddenly appeared on Ziva dealing with her undercoat. I would recommend Greenlin Pet Resorts. The price was relatively in line with other resorts where Ziva has stayed. Ziva will be going back when we visit Hershey again.“
