I have *never* had pleasant experiences at dentists and have far too much childhood trauma. Dentist is synonymous with pain, stress, anxiety, and terror for me. Dr. Narcissi is the first person I've ever met that has genuinely turned that around and made me RELAX DURING A DRILL.

After a quick evaluation, I was referred to Pediatric Dentistry of Pittsburgh by my local dentist for my son’s unfortunate tooth extraction. Dr. Shaw and his staff, and Dr. Borandi (Dentist Anesthesiologist) were fortunately able to squeeze us in on short notice for my son’s extraction. Dr. Shaw and staff / Dr. Borandi were exceptionally professional, knowledgeable, and comforting during the entire process. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and both Dr. Shaw and Dr. Borandi took time to explain the sedation and procedure and answered any questions my wife and I had. Post-extraction, the doctors and staff all checked in regularly to see how my son was doing for the short time we were there before we were cleared to leave. They were all extremely genuine in the well-being of my son, and my wife and I are so very appreciative and grateful of their work and attentiveness throughout the process.
