We met with John Bortz this week to discuss window replacement in our home. He is very friendly, well-informed, and addressed all of our questions. He is not pushy and is a good representative for Pella.

I asked for an in-home consultation to price replacing three living room windows. A visit was arranged within a week. John Bortz arrived on the appointed day and time. He was careful to answer our questions and told us about shades that can be added inside the glass as well as explaining the warranty and installation procedures. We weren't aware that such shades were available. He made measurements and promised a quote within two days. The quote arrived the next morning. John was available, prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable. He also did not apply any high pressure sales tactics. Appreciated his visit very much.

About a year and a half ago I purchased a sliding patio door with built in blinds. Its a beautiful door, and the folks who came out to install it were extremely professional and clean - they did a great job vacuuming up the leftover dust and debris, and also disposed of the old door. Love that!Fast forward to now, and a cord that moves the blinds up and down snapped. We tried realigning the magnets that move them up and down like the installer showed us, but that didn't help.
