I’d been dealing with a torn meniscus for two weeks and went to OIP as a walk-in. I first obtained a knee brace, then followed with an xray and mri.The mri showed a significant tear resulting in surgery to clean the area up, not a repair. Surgery was on 8-30-23.I still had problems climbing stairs two/three months afterwards. Opted for shoe in-soles initially to help with fallen arches and while they helped a bit, the cortisone shot yesterday has proven a huge benefit.It’s the first time in literally months that I’ve been able to climb the stairs and come down them ever other foot, instead of two feet up/down on each step.
