I went to Penn State Medical for a torn rotator cuff. The doctor explained that before an MRI could be done, we needed to get my shoulder “unfrozen.” He prescribed ultrasound‑guided steroid injections and physical therapy, with a follow‑up in two months to determine if an MRI would be possible. Unfortunately, the entire Penn State system couldn’t schedule me for the ultrasound‑guided steroid shots for almost two months. This group is AMAZING! ? Very personable and patient. Providing clear and detailed explanations of issues and options for treatment.
