We moved to the area about 8 years ago and selected Jake's Carpet to do all the necessary window treatments. We chose Jake's mainly because it was the closest to our new house.We feel as though we really lucked out! Their prices are reasonable and they were always on time. Installation was very professional. They even agreed to stop by to give us advice on colors.The string on one of the blinds eventually wore out, so a few months ago -- remember, this is 8 years after we bought the blinds -- I called Jake's to see what we could do about it. They came to our house, picked up the blind, returned it to the manufacturer who acknowledged a 10-year warranty, and returned it to us in working condition. They only charged us for labor.On top of that, Christine and Doug are a pleasure to work with.I would highly recommend Jake's Carpet.
Master Kennedy is awesome!Each member of our family has spent time training with Master Kennedy (a 5th degree black belt) over the last few years, at Twin Dragons Martial Arts. Even after moving nearly 30 mins away, we decided to continue training at Twin Dragons, despite the additional travel time and expense. Absolutely amazing salon the owner is so talented. Only downside is its just very hard to get ahold of anyone to make an appointment.
