So my baby Tula had her first ever grooming appointment today, and let me tell you — I was way more nervous than she was. I almost cried dropping her off like a worried parent on the first day of school ?. The groomer looked me dead in the eye and said, “She’s gonna be fine,” and honestly… they were right.

When I saw all the other dogs just chillin’, minding their own business like they had jobs and taxes to do, I started to relax. Fast-forward to pick-up time — my girl looked brand new! The haircut wasn’t exactly what I pictured, but the groomer clearly knew best because Tula came out looking cute, comfy, and about ten pounds lighter (attitude included).

She did amazing for her first time, and I’m officially obsessed. Tula found her groomer for life — and since she’s still a puppy, she’ll be starting doggy daycare there too! Social life: activated. ?✨

“My German Shepherd puppy and I completed the Basic Obedience Class offered by Hickory Dog Training. The instructor was so accommodating and helpful. The class was small so she focused on specific needs of each dog. She gave us lesson plans so that we can continue to practice! I look forward to seeing other classes that they offer!“

“Our new puppy Bowie was VERY scared and timid going into her first puppy social and started off by hiding behind the furniture. Janet appropriately helped manage the pack and worked to put Bowie in a comfortable space (along with the other timid pups). Over the next several weeks, Janet helped Bowie blossom: by the third week, she was a full-on crazy (in a good way) participant and is wholly comfortable (and playing) with all dogs, everywhere. “We switched vets because this is much closer to our home. So far every visit has been smooth and also affordable! Our chow Sandy had a dental with 11 teeth removed…much needed! We plan on switching the rest of our crew over as well! One important factor I love is they require you to call when you arrive. I have a dog reactive lab so this will be a less stressful future visit for me and him! Great practice experience so far! Thank you for treating Sandy with all the care she deserves!“
