“Kevin has a very creative approach to outdoor landscaping and lighting. We had a patio and walkway installed as a first step. Kevin provided many different renderings making our final choice an informed one. Second step was a backyard hill that was transformed into a large planting area that provides a natural buffer and boundary to the backwoods. Finally, landscape lighting for both the patio and front yard were installed. Kevin and his team are easy to work with and we appreciated being able to bounce various ideas around with him. We love this outdoor space that is truly an extension of our home.“

“Beaver Valley Lawn Service did an excellent job remodeling my backyard, which included replacing an old wooden deck with a more modern one made of Trex, building a wall made of Trex, a paved walkway, and doing some landscaping+lighting. The job also included building two doors flushed with the deck, needed to access a staircase going to the basement and to create an extra storage space under the deck, respectively. The first of these doors was particularly challenging to build, as it had to be made of Trex to match the rest of the deck, be flushed with it, be structurally strong to take the weight of people walking on it, but also light enough to allow it to be opened by lifting. AJ (the owner) and his crew conceptualized a few solutions, made some trials, and ultimately implemented a robust solution featuring a recessed aluminum frame, overall demonstrating the ability to handle non-typical design elements of a job and implementing effective one-of-a-kind solutions. Throughout the project, which lasted several months (a bit longer than I was actually anticipating), I was particularly impressed by how structurally sound the various deck’s elements ended up being built, starting with the deck’s underneath frame and continuing with the Trex doors. AJ and his crew (Marco in particular) demonstrated to care about not just the functionality and appearance of the various elements, but also the need for them to be long-lasting. This latter aspect helped to “accept” the price, which was fair considering the amount of work that went into the job, and the final result. I also appreciated the use of a small crew that, in addition to remaining the same throughout the project thus ensuring work style continuity, was also easy and pleasant to work with, consistently leaving the job site in order and clean at the end of the day. Overall, I was very happy with the result and I highly recommend hiring Beaver Valley Lawn Service for similar types of projects.“

They recently came to install 8 Green Giant Arbs & while they were working, we decided to add 2 more ... they quickly accommodated us! The weather was very cold & rainy ... raw day! “This review is pretty late (sorry Brandon!) since the work we had was done about 10 months ago now, but I still wanted to write the review due to our experience with Ross Excavating. From start to finish Brandon and his crew were great. He is very responsive and was always there to answer any of our questions throughout the whole project whether it was by phone, text, or email, even throughout the months before they were able to finally get started here. We wanted a backyard for years and he and his guys got it done for us. There were some minor obstacles and whatnot throughout the whole process which was out of their control, but he was helpful through it all and kept us up to date with every new update in the months leading up to the job, and he went above and beyond for us when it was all said and done. Once the work started in the Fall, they were there daily getting the job done and we had a yard within a couple weeks. Now we are able to finally enjoy it this summer and couldn't be happier!
