“Anthony and his crew did a great job of pruning, trimming, and cutting a huge, old, half dead Silver Maple in our back yard. We had perfect weather for December, so don’t think it’s too late to complete your project this year, or winter.If it’s not windy, and the conditions are safe, see if he can fit you in. That’s what he did for me after a quick call last week for an estimate. I called him Wednesday morning, he called me back Wednesday evening, then Friday he gave me an estimate, and at that time I told him I could also use some cord wood to burn in outdoor fire pit. Sunday he delivered wood, then Monday morning he arrived with his crew to tackle the old, big Maple. The enormous tree was partially hanging over the street, and a neighbors yard, next to a fence in the back of my yard. It was interesting to watch them handle a difficult task with efficiency and precision, and at the same time be careful and respectful of our yard, the street and the neighbors. Anthony and his people do a great clean up when done also.I would definitely recommend Anthony and his crew for quick response, fair pricing, great communication, and professional work.In fact in the next few weeks I’m going to use him again for maintenance and gravel for the driveway, and in the spring for a project of a Privacy fence and landscaping.Give this local, small family business a chance/opportunity to help you start and finish some tree trimming/removal, cord wood delivery, driveway gravel, or a future landscaping project you need help with!“

“Steel City did a great job on our backyard last year, and the improvements continue to work as planned almost a year later. We were having issues with an old retaining wall, drainage issues, constant runoff/debris in our yard from a hillside, as well as the need to reset a small fire pit patio that was holding water. Jordan came in made some recommendations and I can say they all worked as described while creating a backyard paradise. The team is tremendous and very particular to make sure you get exactly what you want. They put in a new retaining wall, and suggested replacing the steep hillside mulch areas with large limestone to contain the runoff, as well as accenting our pool area with the limestone to tie it all together. We were able to do a mix of mulch in some spots and they no longer run off either. Every suggestion works great and the water now flows to the drains and to the street, eliminating the mess after heavy storms. The fire pit areas no longer holds water after rain. They also reclaimed some areas lost to weeds, adjacent to some woods, with a no mow fescue area, which the dog now uses as its own. The latter means less clean up after the dog as well! We spend a lot of time in our yard and often entertain others who all notice how well the work was done and how the wall color and limestone ties in the existing hardscape in the yard. We are extremely happy and highly recommend Jordan and the team.“

She kept me informed of the schedule and a crew of three guys arrived on time. They were nice, thorough, and cleaned everything up very well. My neighbors were impressed. “I am extremely grateful for finding this company. I can now keep a tree which had grown to be a problem, risking damage to my own and others' property, but did not want to get rid of. You truly cannot tell it was trimmed unless looking very closely, they trimmed it to look very natural. Was also interesting to hear the science behind the trimming. Very awesome company, did great work and felt the price was reasonable too.“
