I recently had my floors resurfaced and stained by Caliber Hardwood Floors. I cannot comment on their ability to install floors, as the flooring was already in place, but I am extremely satisfied with their sanding and staining of my beautiful hardwood floors.A few things stand out:The on-site crew was very professional, competent, and efficient. They communicated clearly and coordinated the times when I would lose access to parts of my house. We had original hardwood floors from a home that was built in 1954. When we pulled the carpets out about 15 years ago—we were pleasantly surprised by how good they looked. At that time, we had a big Lab who did some damage to the floors so we waited until he passed. The Lab left drool marks and other marks—of course to be expected with a ~100 pound dog. Well, the time has come—for the floors to be redone. One word—WOW! The guys were great to work with. I was pleasantly surprised at the lack of dirt. This company was spectacular!After more than 15 years of our hardwood floor being worn by our family of 10, this company came and refinished them. We did not have them sanded or re-stained, since the floors were "hand-hewn" and have the aged look to begin with. Instead they cleaned and re-polyed our floors. They planned to do a commercial grade finish, since our home has such heavy use. However, they mistakenly put residential grade on the floors. I would have never known except that they called us up, and informed us of their error after leaving.
