I started Tae Kwon Do here, learning from Master Bill Lee, in 1989. I then traveled extensively to many cities in multiple states, always continuing my training wherever I went at the local schools, mostly TKD but other arts as well. So I've received training from many Masters. It's now 2025. Of all the Do-Jangs, Clubs, Academys, Gyms, Do-Jos & Studios I've ever trained at in any martial art, regardless of reputation, accolades, awards, trophies, credentials, affiliations with any organizations such as University's, Kukkiwon recognized, ITF, WTF, Olympic TKD, Pan Am TKD, focus, tournament participation, widely known in the public or residing in obscurity, Judo or Kung-Fu recognized annually by the Shaolin Temple, & regardless of the Master's education, such as from MIT, or lineage, or country of origin whether US, Korea, Japan, China, Vietnam, or the hard core city of The Bronx, NYC, Lee's Tae Kwon Do School remains the best, highest quality instruction I've ever received anywhere. Master Bill Lee truly taught me how to defend myself effectively, in short time, with imersive experience, & I'm grateful for the firm foundation he gave me.
