When I started my therapy nine months ago my Neurologist was in the process of giving me a script for a motorized wheel chair. She told me, “physical therapy was my only chance to help me walk again”. I had gone through other physical therapy programs after my back surgeries and they never seemed to help. I was resigned that I was going to be confined to a wheelchair for the rest of my life. What made Freedom Physical Therapy different from the other programs I had been to was their “McKenzie Certified” Physical Therapists. Before I went to Freedom Physical Therapy I couldn’t even walk to the bathroom from my family room without having to sit down several times. I couldn’t walk upstairs to get to the bedroom. The therapists at Freedom Physical Therapy designed a program to help me regain my mobilityThanks to their help and encouragement I can now walk and do many things that I wasn’t able to do before. I can now walk upstairs under my own power. I can walk down my street without assistance. Freedom Physical Therapy has truly given me the freedom of independence and mobility and strength.
