I had a new driveway installed in August last year by Hertz-A-Crete Concrete Construction 18 North Grantham Road Dillsburg PA. The first section they installed is fine but the second section they installed is chipping and pitting. I had a couple of concrete companies look at the driveway and they say it could have been a bad batch of concrete or the way they finished it. I have tried 3 times to have them come and see the driveway without success. I file a complaint with the BBB but they will not respond and I filed a complaint with the Pennsylvania Attorney Generals office which they also ignored. I would give them ZERO stars!! Beware of this company.

The team from Hertz-a-Crete did a fantastic job with our patio. We purchased this home five months ago, and the previous owners told us the basement was dry (a lie). We had water in the basement every time it rained. During one heavy thunderstorm we took out 45 gallons of water. Gordy and the team demoed our old patio next to the house and found that there was no flashing and water had decayed the wood around the foundation. They Spent several days making the repairs, replacing the wood and installing the proper flashing. They also Installed a downspout catch basin and 18 feet of pipe to take the water away from the house. They put in a patio and walkway and also removed the sod and replaced it with stone for a fire pit. we were very happy; everyone who visits our home looks at our patio and says WOW, just WOW. I can’t say enough good things about the team how courteous they were, how conscientious they were, and the quality of work was excellent. The price was very reasonable and we would definitely use them again.

My porject kept getting pushed, they would say someone would be out and then now one would show up. I would have to reach out and they would say it would be a couple more weeks. Finally this concrete now this summer already the sealer color is coming off. I reached out via phone and email and nothing back. I would highly suggest not working with company.

In the spring of 2022, I contacted Hertz-A-Crete for concrete work. I highly recommend this company for concrete work. A year later my driveway and steps look like it was recently done. Thank you Hertz-A-Crete for a beautiful job.

Hertz-A-Crete took our mismatched courtyard patio, which was falling apart, and created a beautiful area that we are looking forward to sharing with family & friends. Beautiful work on a new stamped concrete patio and sidewalk for us. The team paid attention to the details, the project was efficient, and the results were great. They provided helpful guidance on the design and coloration, saving us from what we thought we wanted, but would have ended up not liking nearly as much as what they recommended.Services: Concrete sidewalk building
