“Arlington is a wonderful place to walk -- lots of wildlife and beautiful azaleas. Unfortunately, on my last trip there a man drove into the cemetery with his pickup truck just before dusk and let/made his dog chase the resident fox around off-leash, which was upsetting to both my fiancee and I, as we are lovers of natural wildlife and think that using dogs to hunt foxes is barbaric, especially when we know from previous visits that this is a momma fox with several kits to protect. Additionally, there are signs at the entrances that say no pets? Really put a damper on our night, and now we'll be worried going forward that we'll see that happen again.

I would be very upset to learn that cemetery staff were contracting/permitting this individual to remove the fox family by hunting them with a dog, so I really hope that's not the case.“

“The staff at Kirk and Nice (particularly Michaele & Jessica) were wonderful to work with! They were very knowledgeable, kind, and respected the wishes of my family in planning my father’s funeral & cremation. The facilities are beautiful as well! They took care of so many details in a short amount of time, including getting my father’s remains back from the crematorium quickly so that my brother could join us to receive the ashes before he had to fly back to California! They made it so much easier for us as a family to mourn together for the loss of my father.“

They promptly retrieved her from Hospice and had an ordeal getting her down as the Facility did not want them to take her out the front door, but down a back fire escape, which made it that much more difficult.
