I had over a dozen contractors and companies out over the past few months to give me some options. I liked Jay's solution the best and so far, it's been absolutely perfect.

We've had a decent amount of rain over the last few days and everything is dry and we no longer have water seeping in to the basement. They were able to bury the downspouts in the yard to take them to the back end of the yard away from the house to let divert all the water away. The quality of the work seemed pretty good too. I am sure with any company someone can find something to nitpick about the job, but I can't say I have any valid complaints.

I asked to do the work to reseed the grass in the lawn because I like doing it and I planned on reseeding the lawn this fall anyway, but they did offer to do it and get it all cleaned up. They graciously let me do it. :-)

His price for the work was more than fair and the men did all the work in less than a full work day. They showed up at 8 am sharp and left by 3pm. If you are looking for landscaping or waterproofing/drainage work, give them a chance. I would use them again if I ever needed to.“

“Bartlett took care of 3 aspects of our bush/trees landscaping - 2 20' tall holly bushes, 3 Japanese crabapple trees and large boxwood bushes across the front of our house. In mid-December they showed up to reshape the tall holly bushes, enabling last year's freeze to recover foliage. They carefully thinned the oversized boxwoods to provide air and light to encourage inner growth, to permit overall downsizing only after it will have taken hold, perhaps 1-3 years later. The crabapple trees were selectively thinned to remove suckers and overgrowth, and regain their natural shapes.I especially appreciated their longer view of what was needed, which will add value and not simply prune "to shape." They're interested in the trees' and bushes' health, and scheduled the visit during winter dormancy as well.The work crew was on time, courteous and cleanup was very well done.
