I have been coming to the Bridgeville location over 15 years now and it is great to finally see improvements being made.It is long overdue. I love taking the body sculpting classes especially Carmas. She is an energetic and funny instructor who always puts a smile on everyone's face.

My wife was told by three different doctors that she needed to be doing water aerobics in order to help her recovery following pending neck surgery. When we started we had a different instructor. We were about a month in when Brenda came in to replace the instructor who had left to pursue advancement at her day job. At first we didn’t know what to make of Brenda. She clearly loved what she was doing and our class became more of a family. Her classes are so much fun that sometimes we forgot that we are exercising. At least one class member recovered so well that she tossed her walker into the pool symbolizing that she no longer needed it anymore. My wife was able to put off her surgery by 7 years. By the time she had her surgery she was in such good shape that she was up and walking around the same day as her operation. Brenda’s classes have helped me get through my health issues as well. I’m in better shape than I was 14 years ago.

I love this gym. The atmosphere lends to a productive workout. The gym is always clean and professional. It is very busy most of the times I’m there, around 10am, yet I can always get my workout in with almost no waiting for equipment. It helps when the staff is as friendly as Kam or Grace. They both are always up for a little chit chat when arriving and leaving. I’m glad I decided to join this specific location

I have been waiting for the pool and hot tub to reopen since January. It's always one excuse after another and most of them are because no one knows how to schedule inspections ahead time .

Review for LA fitness in collier township/bridgeville- It’s been a long time since I have been to this LA Fitness. I’ve had great services with them and had no problems when I was coming in and out of the LA fitness. I loved the smoothie bar, customer service, gym equipped maintained & kept equipment clean, loved to relax in the jacuzzi, and swimming at the pool.
I recently learned of a distressing story about a terrible tragedy that occurred at this gym on August 4th, 2009. My heartfelt condolences go out to the families affected by the shooting incident at this gym. This tragedy not only brings pain to the victims' families but also to the family of the shooter(George Sodini). I do not condone the actions of George Sodini; what he did was unequivocally wrong. If society paid more attention to mental-health, showed kindness towards each other, being compassionate, being more caring towards one another, and if the dating-culture, social-culture, and society as a whole were more receptive to giving George Sodini a chance with an open mind and at least suggest an alternative for him to go to a different country to pursue romance & friendships that are true and people were caring, treating others the way they’d want to be treated themselves, such tragic events could potentially be prevented. Once again, my deepest condolences and sympathies go out to all the families impacted by this heartbreaking tragedy.
If you notice that someone is alone and displaying signs of loneliness or forced isolation, trust your intuition and take the time to accompany them, befriend them, and brighten their day. Listen to them with an open-mind and offer a supportive ear. Regardless if your a man or woman, make an effort to engage with them and make their experience meaningful. Your actions can have a positive impact on that person's life. Social-isolation can push individuals to a breaking point, and forced loneliness is a significant concern. By providing support and friendship to those in need, you have the potential to save a life and prevent tragic outcomes such as suicide or harm to innocent individuals and bystanders.
If someone shows signs of suicidal ideation or expresses a desire to take their own life, when all other methods have been exhausted, do not ignore it. Call 911 immediately and seek help. Allow the police and paramedics to manage the situation. Taking mental health seriously is crucial in such situations.
LA Fitness and the gym are places where individuals come to achieve their best physical shape and maintain their health. I recognize that some people prioritize personal space and may not be inclined to engage in conversation at all times, and that is perfectly understandable. The objective is not to create a perfect world, but rather to establish an environment that is inclusive and welcoming to all, regardless of their background.
Let this tragic event at this LA Fitness serve as a learning opportunity and a lesson for all. Let it remind us to give people a chance and to embrace them for who they are, rather than superficial or false reasons.
