“I have suffered with severe psoriasis for more than 10 years and have tried to control it with at least that many bio-meds which I consider dangerous but necessary. One of the medications had a black label warning and it was either try it or suffer. I did both. After a change in dermatologist, it was suggested to see if trying a tanning bed would give me relief. I tried a medium strength bed one day. When I left, I thought it was a nice experience, but I was still feeling the sting of psoriasis. It wasn’t until later that evening when I was working that it dawned on me that I hadn’t been focused on the pain and I found myself freely being able to concentrate on work and other things which to me was incredible. I started going on a regular basis and as I had expected, my skin started clearing up and the pain that comes with the disease was no longer coming at every moment and keeping me awake.If you can relate to what I described, plan a day but you can go immediately if you want and try it for one day. You will know by that evening if the session was effective. I still take an injection every 12 weeks and I still require the tuberculosis tests and insurance authorizations before I can have access. I know the injection and topical medicine play a part in controlling the symptoms, but I have found that tanning gives me the most lasting relief.I really like 4 Seasons Tanning and Spa. The beds are always sanitized after each use and are confidently clean. In my life I had never thought I would have ever gone to a tanning salon. “I want to give a deserving review to Carolina who did my hair twice for weddings that I attended as a guest. It was my first time getting hair done so I wasn't familiar with prices or where to go. I called places around just to inquire prices and Shear Looks was one of them. The price is reasonable and service is top notch. Carolina was the most helpful on the phone--warm and friendly. I asked for a later time but they didn't have an opening, but surprisingly Carolina reached out to me the next day to let me know there's a later time opened up in her book and asked kindly if I want to book with her. Of course-- I booked my first appointment with her then went to see her again for the second wedding ? She is personable, sweet, patient, listens to my needs and what I don't like, and responsive when I texted her for last minute styling changes...just easy to work with overall. Both styles I did held up until the end of wedding nights and I have thick hair. I liked the salon environment too; all the ladies there are friendly and welcoming to their clients. I'll be going back to see Carolina for anything I need in the future. Recommends this place!“

“I've had my membership ever since moving to Harleysville, but being a Police Officer in Philadelphia I only come according to my schedules. The times I have come, it has been a pleasant experience. The owners are nice, the older male trainer is kind. However when I do come in and GREET the desk person, there is never any sort of reciprocation, but looks at the screen to see if I belong. Several times I have said "Hello, Good Morning..." no response however others have received the welcoming greeting. Not sure if it's because they are familiar faces, a certain complexion, either way, makes ya feel unwelcomed. I have been consistent in paying although I do attend other facilities or what's in my location.“

“I've been going to Metro Tans for about 5 years. This is the best salon on the mainline. They have high quality machines. I highly recommend their stand up tanner. The workers have always been kind and friendly. I've read a lot of recent reviews about patrons having difficulty getting appointments during normally scheduled business hours, but it's never affected me. I usually show up in the mornings between 10 and noon.“
