The technician who helped me select my new glasses provided THE best assistance I’ve ever had in my lifetime. She was so professional, helpful, honest& kind but most of all, patient& fun as we narrowed down what can seem to be an overwhelming decision. The variety(& especially quality) of Mt View’s glasses are unmatched (which I learned the hard way?)…no more online or chain stores for me!

I’ve been going here for years. At my first visit, I took all of my glasses I had purchased the year before…I couldn’t see clearly out of any of them. Previous optometry location told me I just couldn’t wear bifocals. Dr Rettig assured me he would find a bifocal for me. The very first pair worked and after a year of struggling I could finally see clearly!!! He is a very thorough and caring eye doctor. The staff are professional and very helpful!!! Highly recommend to all!

My wife and I had a stellar experience when we visited Mountain View Eye to update our prescriptions. Dr. Rettig gave us a very thorough and informative examination and when it was time to select our new glasses Kristin delivered a very candid, thorough and passionate presentation and explanation on what were the best possible glasses for us as well as the pros and cons for the various types of frames and lenses. In addition, she identified a problem I have had for years which was resolved by fitting the nose and width of the frame appropriately with various options.
