They never have appointments available, they won't see you even if you have insurance, let alone without it. They're awful.

I recently went to clozaril clinic and Dr. Yampolsky made wait almost an hour. I finally got disgusted and went and got my blood taken. Then I left. The month before he said my A1C was high and I should make an appointment to see my primary doctor. He suggested that my Metformin needed increased. When I sàw my PD said my A1C was fine. I got the feeling Dr. Yampolsky was sending on a wild goose chase. I don't know what his problem is.

I was concerned coming in because of the reviews, but I had an amazing experience! Wow! Dr. Trout is amazing, smart, intelligent, and caring! Kayla the nurse is so friendly and nice! So I rate 5 stars! This is a good place

I have been with this practice for many years and have also experienced the change in Drs there. They now have a new Dr and Pa in there yet again. I also get frustrated repeating my care that I need to every me Dr that comes in. I have seen 6 different Drs in there since I've been there. Also the most irritating thing now is NOBODY ever answers the phone!!!! What about people who can't use the portal or anyone who just needs to talk to an actual human for care or questions??? Utterly ridiculous!! I actually had to go from April 2024 where I had an appointment to October 2024 without an appointment because there was no DR in there at the time because Dawn left the practice at the end of April. They kept rescheduling my appointment because there was no one to see me with advice to go to med express or the ER!! Asinine!!!

Worst office I've ever dealt with, told by the emergency room that I have pneumonia to follow up with my pcp. I call this morning and am told "why are you calling?" "Just take your medicine" not to mention they have called and "rescheduled" my last 4 appointments and never have a doctor available. Place is an absolute joke don't waste your time or risk your health on this place.

Still debating on whether to stay with this health care company. The Dr door continues to revolve and I haven’t been given time enough to get to know one doctor, so they know my history yet alone the next doctor that just got out of school to come in and start from the very beginning do you know how many times I’ve had to explain my story when all they had to do is pull up the records and READ none of them READ the records anymore. They want you to tell them (lazy) . The doctor should have all of this information ready before you come into the office especially if they leave you sitting out there for more than 20 minutes. Doctors have schedules and the should know the background of every patient they have on their to see schedule for the day. My God they get paid eneongh why don’t any of the take the initiative and get the information about the patient that’s going to be in front of them in the next 10 minutes is that my friend is called common sense plus it isn’t that what we’re paying our insurance for the doctor to know who we are so they can treat us properly?

The worst doctors office I’ve ever had, I’ve been trying to get a refill on my prescription for over a week, 2 faxes have been sent to the doctor and I’ve called multiple times and none have been answered….absolutely ridiculous

I cannot say enough positive things about Dawn McMahon, CRNP, and her team at Altoona Community Health Center. From the moment we walk in, we are greeted with warmth and professionalism that immediately puts us at ease.As my husband's caregiver, I've had the privilege of accompanying him to his appointments with Dawn, and I've always been impressed by the level of care and attention she provides. She listens attentively to our concerns, offers clear and thorough explanations, and never rushes through appointments. She genuinely cares about her patients' well-being and goes above and beyond to ensure they receive the best possible care.Not only is Dawn exceptional, but her staff is also equally outstanding. They are friendly, organized, and always willing to assist with any questions or concerns we may have. The web portal provided by the practice is a game-changer, allowing me to easily schedule appointments, request prescription refills, and review past appointments.
