Statewide Tax Recovery Inc

I just received a letter from this company stating that I owe taxes for a school district…

1. I haven’t lived in that general area for almost four years now and the letter says the taxes owed are from 2024.

2. Even when I did live in that general area four years ago, I did not reside in the school district they’re claiming I owe taxes to.

This seems so shady…

Already paid x amount and then just last week received a letter stating that it was the final notice for the same amount well when I called the first amount I paid was only half and not the full and not once did they fully state to me about the full amount until now. If I could give 0 stars I would just be up front about the full cost and actually send notices out maybe people wouldn’t be so angry with you

Latest update: they are now attaching my wages. Funny how they found my current address and my place of employment but cant figure out that Ive been at this address (IN A DIFFERENT COUNTY than what they are billing me for) during the years they are claiming i owe them for.. this place needs a class action suit.

Update: now sending certified letters for a more recent year. trying to collect taxes. i did not live in that county. They are sending these letters to the address i have lived at for the past 6 years. I lived here at the time they're trying to collect for. in a different county.
