When you make an appointment with the eye Doctor keep in mind that they do not communicate with the eye glass department. The eye Doctor will verify your coverage to be seen there but you have to check with the glasses department to verify your coverage.
I learned this after filling out the paperwork to be seen and the Dr was very kind when we opted to leave since my insurance didn’t cover glasses.
Costco could improve by having the Dr and eye glass dept communicate with eachother. Or at the very least, when someone makes an appointment with the Dr suggest they confirm coverage with the glasses dept.

Dr. Gordeuk was recommended to us by her Retinal specialist in Allentown. She was so patient and kind listening to my mother, guiding her through the exam and explaining to my mother how to adjust safely to the new Rx. Mom has MD and needs to be able to knit and drive to allow as much independence and joy for this 92 yo patient. Dr. G impressed me as a healthcare provider!! We’ll be back!!
Costco, Allentown has to be one of the best run of all wholesale clubs. The store is spotless and the men's room is clean as well. In general, I prefer Costco to Sam's Club. Costco just seems to be run better in my opinion. There are plenty of inventory items to choose from at Costco, Allentown. Merchandise is organized in an easy to understand manner. Meats, fish and poultry are all top quality. Considering the high quality of the food, the prices are reasonable. A club is only as good as the employees. Costco, Allentown employees are friendly and genuinely helpful. At the checkout, the cashiers and assistants always give me a warm greeting when approached. Sometimes they will ask how I like a particular product. I am pleased that they take an interest in the merchandise. Refunds are easy and service at the refund desk is both friendly and prompt. I have never had a problem returning something to Costco. I think Costco employees must be treated well by management as they appear to be happy to be working there. This is a plus for consumers. I tried to think of an area where there could be improvement. Costco offers free flat fixes for tires purchased there. However, due to a loyal following at the tire center, one would need to make an appointment for service on most days. So it might pay to just go to a local service station and have a flat fixed while one waits even though there will be a charge. The tire center is very popular because of honest reliable service. Customers are always treated with respect at Costco, Allentown.
