“EDIT: As disappointed as I was at first they really made up for everything. The day after I posted this review I received a message from Tay apologizing and asking to fix my nails which was greatly appreciated. I went in today and had a much better experience than last. The process was much gentler and my nails feel more sturdy. A big thank you to Tay and the girl who did my nails (sorry I didn’t catch your name)! Definitely redeemed themselves!
I’m not usually one to make reviews or complain but I have been going to this salon for awhile now however I took a short break from getting my nails done (so I hadn’t been back in maybe 3-4 months) and upon my return I saw that none of the usual staff were there. Everyone was new. Wasn’t a big deal until the lady doing my nails was being extremely rough. I was visibly in pain (which in their defense I should have spoken up) and she just kept filling harder. After leaving the salon I noticed a couple of my fingers had cuts where the file was scraping my skin. I had my full set done on Tuesday the 23rd, it is Wednesday the 24th and I’ve already had a nail pop off. I’ve been getting my nails done for years and I know they shouldn’t be popping off when I scratch my leg. That’s insane. After one day the $100 (including tip) I spent has already been basically ruined. Sad to say but I don’t think I’ll be coming back here again.“

I came to her shop with damaged nails. A different salon dremmeled too far into all my nails (yes, ouch). My goal was to see my nails heal and get strong.

“This was my first time at this salon. I had called and explained to the person what I have experienced from some other stylists and what I was looking for. I was booked with Holly. When I got there, I told Holly that I wanted my hair cut from shoulder length to around my chin. She knew exactly what to do based on our discussion. I have to tell you in my very mature life I have never had such a good haircut!!! I don't know what Holly did, but my hair looks and feels better than it ever has. I am so glad I was booked with her. The salon itself is very nice, the aesthetics are calming and professional. Can't wait to continue with Holly and this salon!“

Whenever I get acrylics by Lien, they dont come off unless you want them to! She puts a lot of care and detail into everything she does! “They’ve convinced a forest fairy to trust in the magic of Beauticians, again. The staff at Lush are artists of esthetic. I walked in on a Saturday and was met instantly with a warm staff, happy clientele, and calm atmosphere. Beautiful! The place is beautiful. From flooring to decor, a very nice spa atmosphere. Well appointed stations, clean, and organized. Pleasing on the senses, the lighting is soft and air moves well, no chemical smells. I showed the gal at the desk my nails explaining I would prefer a different shape to the structure of the nail. I had gotten acrylics the end of May celebrating a birthday and was under impressed and over charged. In minutes I had chosen a cat eye finish and was seated with a wonderful technician who worked with the skill and experience her youthful appearance did not suggest. She prepped quickly after asking a few questions about shape. Next, she had me approve the shape of the pinky nail she built and my face cracked open so wide. “Perfect!” They are. She masterfully commanded the cat eye polish into a sphere shape resembling perhaps full moons, or gemstones, exactly as I had chosen. I literally squealed and giggled, they are so perfect! I had requested the same design from the previous salon, they did not quality control, they did not execute the design, and they didn’t care. My experience at Lush was the wonderful. In a hard economy where not everyone is willing to strive for a happy client, rather to just work fast, Lili at Lush is an amazing nail technician and an excellent nail artist. I will see them for lashes this week, also. They’ve landed a client for life.“

“This has been my go to nail spot for the last five years. I love their staff so much especially Stanley and Mimi. They do such a good job and they're super friendly. Their prices are affordable as well. I love coming here and being able to relax. It's definitely a hidden gem in Vancouver. HIGHLY recommend.“
