“Jen is amazing. I wish I had all the photos of what she's done to and for my hair over the years, all gathered up for this review but I'll have to post them later if I can. My profile photo is her work --- perfection. She has been doing my hair from lifting and toning, putting cool colors in, full on haircuts & layering, trims for up-keep, and recently - on a whim: bangs! They look fantastic! Shes gentle, super sweet and always makes sure to ask specifics on what you want, and check-in with you to make sure you get exactly what you want. My hair is always in better condition after I'm done seeing her. She really knows what she's doing. I always suggest bringing in a photo (if you can) to any hair stylist to make sure you're getting what you want, especially if you don't know what the haircut or style is called - just something to do or you may miscommunicate what you're after. I've brought in photos only a few times, but the few times I have, she's only needed a quick look, and immediately know what I'm after, executes it well! I've gotten services from her at several salons, and will continue to follow her if she ever goes anywhere else! I'm glad she's at a salon with Aveda - plant based products now ☺️. Thank you Jen!!“

“Very pleasantly surprised! I've been extremely loyal to my current salon the past few years, but came here today to try it out since it's within walking distance to my home. Also, my husband came here last weekend for a mani/pedi and said the pedicure chairs are amazing, as well as the service. Today, I had an ombré dip fill. The price didn't bother me since I pay the same amount at my current salon. My nail tech was Tom, he was very nice but his attention to detail was what really impressed me. The gentleman at the front desk who checked me in was also very polite and friendly. I also loved that they were playing super cute animal clips on their television; I'm a sucker for anything showing cute animals doing funny things! All in all, I just might have to make a permanent switch to this salon. So far, they really are that good!“

“I've been looking for a new salon since mine went out of business a few months ago. I've tried several, but I've finally found The One! I've been twice and Mẹ did a great job on my dip!The one thing I don't like is that they prefer cash (doesn't everyone?) and they have an ATM machine if you don't have it. You can't leave a tip if you pay by credit card, so you have to have cash. I usually pay for everything by credit card because of the airline miles, and it is inconvenient for me to go get cash. As the customer, I should be able to pay however I want to. I've been to several salons lately who do this and I understand credit card fees may be high. I don't mind paying an extra dollar or two to use my card. I like my miles.Both visits they got me in the same day I called, which I really appreciated. “I will start by saying that these people are super nice and I left very happy with my pretty nails.I will add however, that their website advertises solar nails, which is what I requested, and I was given acrylic. Confusingly, the guy told me to choose colors and then I was never asked about the colors, but given pink. Strange miscommunications happening there.I also sat down at a station that still had quite a bit of nail dust and human nail clippings (not mine) on the table top. The electric grinding tool came out and I could see that the dusty box full of attachments have been shared by many people. Same with the big nail file at the end. I'm not squeamish about germs, but if you are, you might be bothered by all this. The shop is lovely and well lit, with a relaxing atmosphere. They seem to have Valentine's, Christmas, and autumn decor displayed all at the same time, are playing constant Vietnamese pop music, and there is an endless stream of cross talk in Vietnamese all around you as you sit there. They may or may not talk to you, or let you in on the jokes. It's not unpleasant, and this is America so they can listen to and say whatever they want in their own shop. But I got the feeling that the atmosphere is more for their enjoyment rather than for their customers. Overall it's about what I expected to pay, maybe a little more, and though the place could be cleaner, the quality of the work was excellent. Might return.“
